Having that 2 pm crash? Don't reach for coffee! Reach for more water, and try having a large salad at lunchtime with less carbohydrates! Remaining continuously hydrated will keep your body alert and functioning at its best!  Salads made up of leafy, green veggies will leave you feeling full longer without weighing you down than a carbohydrate-heavy meal, which will leave you feeling sluggish for several hours and then hungry again! Bulk up your salad with beans, lean chicken, lentils, nuts, and/or seeds!
